Evan! of fducation Much of the improvement made in the Mercer Schools is due to the wise planning of the Board of Education. They continually strive to keep our schools on a level with the best in the state. They look after the improvement and building of new schools, and most important, they establish and maintain the best possible school to meet the needs of the community. Aside from their regular business, they must have various committees such as building, teachersi, finance, athletics, and many more. The board meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month.
