It marks the turn of the century and that of our high school career Finally we have attained that coveted rank of upperclassmen Many nice things have happened to us as we have struggled along our way,but none could compare with the arrival of our class rings They are the pride and joy of every jun ior boy and girl Early in the school yean capable officers were elected under the supervision of Mrs Walker and Meckley They were President Russell Moon Vice President Mary Miller Treasurer Joyce Thomas The class is well represented in all school activities There are twelve boys on the varsity football team and eight onthejunior varsity We only have one member on the varsity basketball team, but there are six onthejunior varsity Their efforts ameacclaimed by threelusty lunged cheerleaders We have eight BECOMES JUNIORS representatives in band, two are majorettes, and three in orchestra In chorus nine girls contribute thekfvocd.talents The newly organized Tri H1 Y and H2 Y have forty one junior members boys and fourteen The junior class play, Mother1s a Freshman,udramatized successfully on November3 and by a cast of nine girls and six boys, entertained two capacity audiences The cast was capably assisted and supported by the other class members on various committees Our class party was helion March 3 and it was as huge success In all our attention and our efforts Our first prom the big event f the year' We all lo cforward witxeagerness to our senior year and hope it will be as worth while as the past years have been May the sophomores glory intheir achievement when they assume their place as juniors!
