SENIOR CLASS HISTORY Freshmen! It sounded almost like a magic word. On September 6, 19-4-1. eighty-six bewildered boys and girls began their first year of high school. We were really initiated, and hair and lipstick were everywhere. On October 2i , 1944, we held a class meeting under the direction of Mr. Connor. The following officers were elected: President............................Donald Weaver Vice-President.......................Thomas Shaffer Secretary............................ Betty Ann King Treasurer...............................Shirley Neal Our first class party was Jive Junction” held in May. We received much praise and were well satisfied. The last day was spent at Conneaut Lake Park. Having overcome all the difficulties, we were Sophomores and started with much more confidence.
