It is our purpose in publishing this Annual to bring to the people of Mercer, a better knowledge of their High School and its activities, and to provide for tlie Class of 1926, a lasting memory of their High School Life. CJ We hope that our readers will read this Annual in an appreciative way and will not be too censorious in their eritieism of it. I he publishing of this Annual is a precedent for Mercer High School, and since the starting of any enterprise constitutes a great deal of hard work, so in this, the publishing of our first Annual, great effort and perseverance were required. CJ We wish to state that, however poor and insignificant this Hook may appear to our readers, we gave our inexperienced best efforts to tin publishing of the same, and therefore, feel justified in taking pride in it, and hope it may be appreciated for its worth with mistakes and errors overlooked.
