TIMES OF LEARNING Learning is a process of gaining knowledge which may take various forms: group sessions, special teacher instruction, or a student's individual search for an answer. All of these forms are evident in the atmosphere at Mercer. However books and tests, as many students have discovered, are not the only tools of learning, but rather the experiences gained from day to day provide the student with a realization of what true knowledge is. Throughout the year many goals that had been set were captured. Some of these events were of a serious nature and others not quite so serious. The events ranged from Robin Jackson's award winning essay on conservation to Charlotte Baker’s quest for the great SUPER BUBBLE.
