We take part in several state-wide projects each year; we participate in the Sportsmanship Clinic in November and attend Youth Assembly in the spring. Each year we sponsor Teen Talks and invite the entire student body to our assembly program. We assisted the F.H.A. in serving the Farm-City Banquet and sponsored a family for a Merrier Christmas. Having affiliated with and paid our dues to the State Y.M C A, we feel that our club has a wider outreach to the world than we could ever have managed alone and that our little bit does count. In this space age of rapidly moving events, there is a great struggle to chain and shackle the thinking of freedom loving people throughout the world. If our great heritage of democracy is to survive, we must have an intelligent working knowledge of democratic principles. Thus the Student Council serves today's youth by inspiring them to be better citizens for tomorrow. 4-H CLUB Heart Head Hands Health 4-H PLEDGE I pledge my head to clear thinking, My heart to greater loyalty, My hands to larger service, My health to better living, For my club, my community, and my country.
