Seniors Star In Here Comes The Brides Here Comes the Brides was performed before a high school audience on May 5. Many members of the audience who sat in the rear of the audi- torium were surprised to hear the actor's voices carrying clearly to the back. This meant a much more attentive audience. As for the play itself, it was staged in present day times and centered around the mishaps and the misfortunes of the two main characters, Jimmy Took and his friend, Bill Thompson. Through a misunderstanding Jimmy's Uncle Dan gets the impression that Jimmy is married. Being wealthy and sending monthly installments to Jimmy, Uncle Dan decides to deliver an installment in person and meet the new bride. ln the resulting commotion several men turn into brides, and everyone becomes confused. But, as is true with most comedy, everyone lives hap- pily ever after. Peggy CMaryJ meets Jimmy's new bride, who in reality is Mr. Oswald CRamonJ. Madge CFlosieJ watches Bill CRoyJ reveal himself. Lady MacBeth fMary Helenj slowly walks behind Nurse McDaniel CCissyj. lllll Mr. Oswald, alias new bride for Jimmy, unexpectedly reveals his real person. Jimmy CChrisJ and Uncle Dan CPeterJ don't quite know what to think about Williamena.
