SENIORS OF '68 SET GOOD EXAMPLES In the fall of '67, about 136 students succeed in becoming the leaders of Mercedes High School. Pre- pared to face the future, the distinguished seniors met their last ye a r with brighter hopes. Everything they did was important because it served as an example for the three other classes. Throughout the years they participated in many school activities. They held most of the offices in most of the clubs. ln previous years they cooperated with other upperclassmen in making Mercedes High abetter school. As they looked back through their school life they knew that they had accomplished a great deal. By taking business courses many Seniors were pre- pared to go into the business world. While some did not take any business courses, they will undoubtedly go on to college. Taking college admission tests and applying for the different colleges are among the things they had to do. But regardless of all the hard work in- volved, the C lass of '68 managed to set a good ex- ample for all the underclassmen to follow when their turn came to be the leaders of MHS. 25 ,.
