BUSINESS DE ELOPS SKILLS Mercedes hosts a very good Business Department. Among the courses offered are Typing I and II, Stenography, and a business course. Mercedes High School is the only high school in Texas to carry an all electric type-writing class. Manuscripts and jobs keep students typing. FGREIGN AN UAGE L BOR TORY EFFICIENT ADDITIO Foreign Language students enjoy the new addition - the foreign language laboratory. This is a new experience for all and the students look forward to developing their skills with other languages. Besides having an all female teaching staff in the Foreign Language Department, we also have a new foreign language lab. The lab is a totally new addition to Mercedes High School. It helps both teacher and students to determine how well they are progressing. Through practice, Mrs. Goza has conquered the con- sole.
