THE GYMNASIUM AND CAFETERIA oreworci This year the Bengal Staff has once again made an earnest attempt to capture each treasure of our school activities in pictures. The student life at Mercedes consists of clubs, bands, choirs, sports, and interscholastic league events, all of which have their special highlights. There is alsoanewspaper, THE TIGERand our yearbook, THE BENGAL which is now in its seventh year of publication. We hope this book is a living history of the period which will become increasingly dear to our memories day by day. If, to review these pages in future years, this book brings you an echo of laughter and happiness of the year 1951-52 at Mercedes High School, our efforts have not been in vain.
