Without Mr. Lang's help the play could not have been presented. He worked hard and all the seniors appreciated it. Thanks to Miss Watkins, too, who directed the play very patiently while the cast did quite a bit of cutting up and perhaps even discour- aged her. She waskpatient, though, and the play was a success. S'B . P ' E 'YArchie's in love with Mrs. Jones-Wright ! 'N ' l Baccalaureate Ceremonies. Baccalaureate was as pretty as ever this year. The stage was decorated with fern and artificially colored flowers on a lattice. There were two baskets containing bouquets of blue iris, the class flower. Mrs. Virginia Shotwell played the processional and recessional. The high school played the processional and recessional. The high school choir sang under the direction of Mr, J. H. Penn. Brother Vvheeler of the First Christian Church gave the invoca- tion and Brother Downing of the Presbyterian Church delivered the sermon.
