During the first lew weelcs of school, the Freshmen furnished much amusement. Remem- hering their experience as Hunderdogsn a year before. the sophomores naturally made the inost of their new role. 'lille First social event ol the school year, the traditional welcome to the entering class, was given on October 25. The gymnasium was cleverly decorated with pictures on the wall. streamers, and pumplcins-all of which ai- lorcled a picturesque rural setting. Having been welcomed in a most exciting and hospitable manner hy the sophomores at their Autumn Party, the Freshmen reciprocated with unique entertainment on lxlovemloer 22, 1041. A large twelve loot iceberg dominated the scene and transported the guests to the South Pole. Around the walls were huge penguins whose comical antics amused all. A lively program consisting of a grand march. group dances, and specialty numbers provided a gay evening. The Freshmen have been well represented in all the activities of the school.
