Stanley Devaurs GEORGE GARNER President The Sophomore year is not an outstandingly eventful one. The main event is the Freshman Reception which is our effort to malce the Freshmen feel at home. This year the theme for the party was that ot a Roundellp, and cowhoy costumes and decorations helped to Create atmosphere. Talented and conscientious sophomores did their part in malcing the school activities and programs for the year ol' 1050 outstanding. Our official Welcome came with the llirst social aetivity ot the year, the Freshman Round-Up. Un Qctoloer 29 we entertained the Sophomores at a Hallovvelen Dance given in the gymnasium, which was decorated with haystaflcs, javli-0,-lanterns, Witehes, and hats. During the year we held sucvesstul candy sales and noon dances which helped to build up the funds in our treasury, The Class is proud ol its memloers who have talcen an active part in sports, chorus, El Rodeo, orchestra, and the Corner Corridor activities.
