Men of this training cogmvalrd already have seen action. Some have given us the inspiration of their heroic deaths, Others are daily examiles of daring, skill and courage. creating DSW All of them Ynve responded well to General Arnold's faith in the 51-my Lit Forces: Nl am confident that the personnel of my command will acquit themselves with honor and distinction, no , matter where and when we shall meet the enemy . This book will provide a memento of Army Air Forces' training. 1 am mggy to send my greetings to you all... officers, cadets and enlisted men, flyers and mechanics, instructors and students.
