Mr. Edmund Berridge Mr. Alex Greenblatt Great Teachers and Sincere Friends The old tradition that good things must come to an end, including people, still exists. This year our school is losing three very good teachers. Mr. Alex Greenblatt, Mrs. Rosella Siskind, and Mr. Edmund Berridge, are all retiring after over 15 years of service. Mr. Greenblatt has been teaching at Mepham since 1959. His plans after retirement include traveling up to Alaska, Mexico and the Southwest. He is planning to do some writing in chemistry and computer programs. When Mr. Greenblatt was asked why he was retiring, he said, “It’s time for another season.” Mr. Berridge has been at Mepham for 29 years including his four years as a student. He has taught Accounting, Typing, Business Law, and Computers. He was the Senior and Junior Class Advisor and he also started the Interact Club. He plans on traveling to England and Greece after retiring. Mrs. Siskind has taught math at Mepham for almost 18 years. She is planning on traveling around the world with her husband after her retirement. We, at Mepham High School, will remember these teachers, not only as great teachers, but also as sincere friends.
