ITALIAN In keeping with the Romance Languages, the Italian Club brings a little bit of Italy to Mepham every Thursday afternoon. This year’s club, forty members strong, has kept busy with a lot of fun activities and community services. They had a picnic at Eisenhower Park, they went rollerskating, and they saw a demonstration on the preparation of Fettucini Alfredo. For Thanksgiving, members prepared a food chest for an Italian family here in Bellmore. Although Mrs. Gil was not with the group for a couple of months, the club was as active as ever.
