Mr. JULIUS C. BRAUN Principal of the District The rapid expansion of the educational facilities of Central High School District Number Three has made the difficult problems of administration even more complex. As Principal of the District, Mr. Julius C. Braun has surpassed the challenge and increased the efficiency of the District’s Administration. The year 1959 saw the opening of both the Stand-ford H. Calhoun High School and the Grand Avenue Junior High School. When we consider what this means in terms of staffing, organizing, and supervising, we have a small idea of the responsibility which is upon Mr. Braun’s capable shoulders. What makes his accomplishments even more impressive is the fact that he finds the time to participate in many community and professional organizations. Mr. Braun gives of himself fully and without stint in order that the youth of our community may be better served. Education is the process by which we grow in mind and spirit. Education serves not only to fit us for a place in life but to develope us into well-rounded citizens. We cannot overlook the importance of these years at Mepham, or forget the fine people who made them possible. The future of our Nation depends upon the education of our youth. To such outstanding educators as Mr. J. Braun we owe a debt of gratitude for what our Nation has become and for the greater promise of the future.
