P. A. 6'lllB Contradictory to the old saying, seen but not heard, the five members of the Mepham P. A. Club were constantly and consistently heard but not seen . The five announcers for this year were Robert Cuddy, Bill Collins, Tom Lewis, Lorin Swagel, and Wayne Von Nessen. The club was responsible for the announcing of each home sporting event and the keeping of the official scoreboard. Assisted by the P.A.'s club advisor, Mr. Coby, the group announced at all football, wrestling, basketball, and track activities. KEY This year s Key Club was applauded for its work by Key Club International Led by Presi dent Edgar Lampert and under the guidance of Mr William Perrine and Mr Bert Bedell of Kiwanis the club solicited funds for the Boy Scouts Mental Health and the Dads Club Scholarship Fund They assisted the school by serving refreshments and checking coats at school dances and by ushering at the Com mencernent Exercises as well as promoting the Annual Key Club Dance Standing: Mr. Coby, Collins, Rosenthal, Front: Alexander, Lewis, Cuddy, Scheinhcirri, Swagel, 61118 The club served the community by selling identification stamps to businessmen helping to get out the vote on Election Day present ing Thanksgiving Baskets to needy families and staging a Christmas Party for the crippled children of the Saint Giles Home As Lieutenant Governor of Mepham s district of Key Clubs Frank Caccuitto was responsible for correlating the activities of the clubs The other cfficers of Mepham s Chapter were Steve Iaffe Vice President Craig Scott Secretary and Ianson Bedell Treasurer Back Lau Larove P se eclel enter 7ie,ier Ca tart I l e emerfeif' C' in Front it iz Page tufnty Fight . i . . . - ' 1 . ,t ,, , I I T . . , , , . . .
