PRINCIPAI OF THE DI TRICT Our new and efficient District Principal is a native of Buffalo who has devoted his fruitful career to the organization and de- velopment of New York State's educational system. He is a firm believer in the wise maxim which adorns our assembly wall: The foundation of every state is the educa- tion of its youth. In the capable hands of educators such as Mr. Braun, lies in a large part the future of our country, for he is di- rectly responsible for the molding of today's youth into the leaders of tomorrow. His untiring efforts toward this end have been an outstanding evidence in the com- munity and professional organizations, which command an active interest in his busy life. In order to inculcate the contin- uous growth of our students, Mr. Braun utilizes the formidable combined potential of the school, the home, and the community to develop the best in educational oppor- tunity. The well-rounded citizens manifested by such a philosophy are the strong cement which binds our nation's walls. In a growing, expanding school district, one in which the new horizon always por- tends new problems to be resolved, and one which constantly requires Mr. Braun's close attention and supervision, he nevertheless is vividly concerned with the interests, prob- lems, and the progress of both students and teachers. His direct attention to administra- tion on a personal plane has inspired many students to new heights. His effective wield- ing of his office in his many difficult deci- sions has been extremely gratifying to many who have profited directly, and to those who have the interests of our institu- tion at heart. The fine choice evidenced by Mr Braun's impressive career and by thgs cut standing first year of his administration explains the very successful present and assures our students, the leaders of tcnicr- row, of an equally proud and prolific future.
