The Mentonette staff with the help of its sponsor published a bi-weekly paper for the Mentone high school stu- dents. The Talma paper staff pub- lished a paper which was enjoyed by the junior high students twice a month. The Tribune reporters were kept busy reporting events and points of inter- The BULLDOG staff wishes to thank the individuals who aided in the pro- duction of this book. Guidance and directions from the principal, Mr. Toll, and the yearbook advisor, Mrs. Caldwell, were greatly appreciated. est at Mentone High to the South Bend Tribune. The BULLDOG staff tried its best to make this yearbook the best ever, taking pictures, making layouts, and meeting deadlines. Although much work was required, everyone on these staffs enjoyed it, and all the student bodies enjoyed their publications. Thanks also goes to the Indiana School Pictures, Incorporated, for their photography work, and to Mrs. Diane Nellans, student teacher in the art department, for her art work on the division pages. 27

Junior And Senior Students Attended l.U. Summer Sessions LORNA TRIDLE was leaving home to attend Journal- ism Institute at Indiana University. Lorna came home with great enthusiasm and dramatic ideas for the Mentonette. CAROLYN WARREN attended Library Workshop at Indiana University. She learned the techniques of the modern library.
