In the Nickolet National Forest close to Big Archibald Lake is a group of large pine trees that give off a sound similar to a pipe organ when the wind blows through the trees. I have stood and gazed to the top of those trees which have reached some 75 or 80 feet in the air. They have grown straight and tall because they are close together and each seeks light for further growth. So it is with a student: he grows mentally taller with competition and the desire for more light in the world of knowledge.
