v.HI THE YEARS BETWEEN The senior class of 1961 began in 1949. The first class was composed of 37 stu- dents. Following are the names: Marilyn Sullivan, David Lincicome, Kerry Kump, Carol Smith, Dona Kay VanGilder, John Feldman, Janice Davis, Linda Long, Darrel Hively, Alice Slater, Mona Belle Ross, Becky Keirn, Jerry Lackey, Sue Hively, Linda Clingenpeel, Jimmy Hawley, Nancy Cochran, Judy Barkman, Pam Hammer , Judy Horn, Marilee Eiler, Kay Taylor, Carolyn Hudson, Linda Alexander, Marolyn Hudson, Betty Parker, Max Flenar, James Anderson, Jerry Hatfield, James Fitz- gerald, Gene Kinch, Joe Carmican, Mitchell Tucker, Jerry Blackburn, Dick Boggs, Larry Rackeweg, and Bob Griff is. In the years between the first and ninth grade, the new students who joined our class were the following: Ruth Drudge in the second grade; Lynn Phillips and Linda Perrininthe third grade; Larry Manwaring and Linda Surface in the fifth grade; Janet Capes and George Istok in the sixth grade; and Tom Wittkamper in the seventh grade. When we entered our freshman year in 1957, therewere 56 members in the class. We had lost 14, but from Burket we gained: Wayne B e r k e y , Jacqueline Duff, Sandra Lackey, Bob Tucker, Gary Shepherd, Larry Wise, Terry Rowland, Martha Miller, Shir- ley McKee, Ruth Ann Huff, and Linda Gos- hert. From Beaver Dam we gained Barry Blalock, and from Warsaw we gained Connie Huffman. Our sophomore year started with 52 students. We had lost 4 and gained none. As juniors we started our class with 43 students. We had lost 9 and again gained none. In this our last year, we lost 9, and we now have 34 in our graduating class: Barry Blalock, Janet Capes, Janice Davis, Ruth Drudge, Jacqueline Duff, Linda Goshert, Pamelia Hammer, Ruth Ann Huff, Connie Huffman, Becky Keirn, Sandra Lackey, Linda Long, Shirley McKee, Martha Sue Miller, Linda Perrin, Mona Bell Ross, Linda Surface, Marilyn Sullivan, Kay Tay- lor, Dona Kay VanGilder, Wayne Berkey, John Feldmaft, Max Flenar, Bob Griff is, George Istok, Larry Manwaring, Lynn Phil- lips, Larry Rackeweg, Terry Rowland, Gary Shepherd, Mitchell Tucker, Bob Tucker, Larry Wise, and Thomas Wittkamper.
