THIRD: Larry Greulach, Doyle Eiler, Lloyd Bowerman, Larry Eiler, Lowell Gruenewald, Jim Bryan, Steve Shirey, Eddie Tridle, Ken Romine, Clair Taylor, John Wentzel. 4- % Tie Officers of the Harrison Hustlers 4-H Club are Larry Greulach, President; Janet Besson, Vice President; Linda Blackburn, Secretary; Jim Keirn, Treasurer; Judy Besson, Reporter; Steve Shirey, Health and Safety; Steve Hewlett, Song Leader; Lorna Tridle, Pianist; and Recreation Leaders, Marty Nelson, Becky Keirn, Eddie Tridle, and Jim Byran. Goals for the year: a membership of fifty with a trip for all members who complete their projects, purchase of 4-H jackets, and establish an award system to give recognition to the outstanding boy and girl in the club each year. Officers are Barbara Unzicker, President; Linda Nees, Vice President; Janice Lynch, Secretary; and Susie Sullivan, Treasurer. The Mentone Chapter has been very active this year with an interesting and edu- cational program. There was a skating party; Rev. McCance spoke at a meeting; a demonstrator from Merle Norman Cosmetics gave us timely tips; and there was a film and lecture on cleaning procedures given by the Vogue Cleaners. 0?‘0?‘s4. 'Itemt, The Mentone F.F. A. Chapter this year has 47 active members. Dwayne Creamer was elected to serve as District 11 Director for the 1959-60 school year. The F.F. A. poultry team placed first in the District 11 judging contest. Team members were Phil Nelson, Larry Greulach, Larry Eiler, and Burl Blosser. These boys also represented the Mentone Chapter in the Richmond, Virginia, judging contest, where they placed third. Money raising activities this year were: collecting and selling scrap iron, selling garden seeds, painting tractors, building hog houses and feeders, and selling F.F. A. calendars. The money was used for a trip to Chicago, for the annual State F.F. A. Convention, etc. The chapter selected Mona Ross as their chapter Sweetheart.
