The librarians are now receiving credit for serving in the Lawrence D. Bell library and the elementary library. They may have a four year career in library work and receive two full credits. Speech ?e4tiv zC (?lu Sixteen members of the Speech Festival Club partici- pate every year in the Kosciusko County Speech Festival. Last year Mentone students won the highest total of honors among the county schools by bringing home five superiors, seven excellent medals, and four good awards. The council planned several programs during the year: Veterans' Day, Honor Day, Thanks- giving Convocation, Christmas Convocation, Easter Program.
