If you have ever been accosted in the hall by an anxious M Club member eager to sell his wares whether they be pencils, buttons, or season tickets, chances are you have succumbed to the ambitious sales technique and purchased his wares. The popcorn was greatly improved by the purchase of a new popper which was used to pop popcorn for M.H.S. athletic events. The motto of the club may well be Our business is popping. Under the guidance of Pete Noreen, President, Ron Quilling, Vice-President, and Buck Retzloff, Secretary-Treasurer, the honor athletes completed a very successful year. It's fun, too. Along with the glory and the fun go a lot of headaches, however. Besides being willing to work hard, the girls' must have high scholastic averages, leadership ability, and dependability. The gym leaders take shower checks, carry equipment, lead exercises, and run errands for Mrs. Miner. Somehow the admiring looks from the younger girls seem to make up for the hard work.
