Scliutz, and C. Boe to the State Music Festival. P. Schutz also won the Young Artists' Contest.

WE ARE PRUUD The American Legion presented the Good Citizenship Award to Judy Shafer. Janet Evenson tied for first place in the Elks Club Annual Constitution Contest, K. Earl, J. Dundas, J. Miller, and B. Gralow represented MHS at the State Forensic Contest. Don Manor, the winner of the Bausch and Lomb Science Award, was also a finalist in the National Merit Scholarship Test. Donna Bechtel won the NCTE Achievement Award, firstplace in the AATF State French Test, and the P. E. O, Esther Shern Scholar ship. The Betty Crocker Roger Srpple was Homemaker of Tomorrow chosen Star Farmer Award and the Dunn Co. for 1959 Homemaker Scholarship were awarded to Geraldine Rassbach. 94
