Ione Olson, and Sally Rude-were presented in assembly. Then Came the parade which was a huge success, The float of ses- sion rooms 100. 107. and 102 took the prize. ln the evening our Indians lived up to their slogan as they Ran All La Crosse the Rangers by .1 17 to 6 count. For the team. and especially the seniors. this game was the climax of an outstanding season, Following the game came the homecoming dance, All enjoyed themselves as they danced to the music of the Royal Blackhawks in the beautifully decorated gym. f' A fgffgv ttf . 5 wi Miss M. unior Prom of '5 junior Class president, Dave Jacobson, crowns his queen, Jean Steinmeyer. The most enchanting night of any school year is the night of the junior Prom. Everyone had been looking forward to the big event on May 9th, and there it was. The dance began around 8:30, and the music was supplied by the Royal Blackhawks. Couples were caught up in the enchantment and the magic of gay Paris. The gym was decorated in spring pastels. Everything was centered around the theme Spring- time in Paris. The dance was reigned over by King Dave Jacobson and Queen jean Steinmeyer. Sixty-three couples matched their steps to the strains of the Grand March. Dancing lasted until twelve-thirty, The Grand March is the high point of the evening.
