oon Hour Association Menomonie High Scho0l's largest organization this year has been the Noon Hour Association. Because of increas- ing interest among the students. a constitution was adopted, Mr. Sehloff, the advisor, has been very interested in the formation of association for those who take their lunch at school, Besides numerous athletic events advised by Mr. Grier, handicraft and dancing provided entertainment for other members, Money was raised by selling candy in the halls during noon hour. Cheerleaders Cheerlealers j Stemmeyer M Emmett P Rudiger B Bundy andl Olsen Mayorettes for the Senior Band H111 Barbara Storing and Nancy Jensen with Barbara Bundy as head majorette Pat Metling Cheryl La Pean and Eleanor Elghmy led the junior Band This year a new ruling was made stating that mayor ettes must be playing members of the band as well as twirlers 54 ajorettes Leading Menomonie's rooting section were five senior high cheerleadersg Mary Emmert, Barbara Bundy, Pat Rudiger, Ione Olsen and Jean Steinmeyer. Pat Metling, Helen Hardies, and Eleanor Eighmy represented the junior high. Early in the fall tryouts were held and these girls were selected Mr Bongey then appointed Barb Bundy as head cheer leader From the first football game in Sep tember right on through the basketball tournaments they led the cheering crowd and helped to spur our Indians on to victory Magorettes B Storing N Clough B Bundy N Jensen S Hill 5 I 7 . 1 1 .
