Boltom, left: Ellen is drawing the divi- sion page silhouettes. Shut the glue bottle is going to stick with the 1955 MENOMIN staff for quite a while. In fact, many of the joys and hardships that go with putting an annual together will never be forgotten. Xwith an inevitable March 15 deadline to meet, 107 was the scene of many busy hours. Heading the staff was Sally Rude. Her assistant was jack Holzhueter. The staff was as follows: senior editors, Ann Butwitz, and Nancy Schoenoffg junior editor, Ruth Studebaker, sophomore editor, Lee Resnickg junior high editor, Audrey Breitzmang activities, Judy Goehring, and Dennis Olsen, sports, jane Haldeman, and Bob Feyeng layout, jack Close, artist, Ellen Tangeng and typist, Audrey Reinecke. Miss Helen Carey was the advisor.

Debate For the first time in three years, Menomonie High School had a debate club. Mr. Sehloff was the ad- visor. The club met every Thursday at four o'clock. Early in October, after much behind-the-scene activi- ty, members went to Eau Claire to take part in an inter-regional discussion clinic in which they placed third. The debate question was Resolved: that the Atlantic Pact Nations should form a federal union. This was debated january tenth at Eau Claire. Library Keeping our library in order involves the Work of more than just one person. To aid her in this and other duties, Mrs. Minda Dockar, librarian, ap- points several girls to work with her throughout the year. Every second and fourth Wednesday, the members of the club meet to discuss the selection of new books. Carol Anderson, president, and Judy Knopps, secre- tary, were the officers for the year. Every Tuesday the session rooms of the high school were the center of much activity on the part of the MENOMIN salesmen. The salesmen were in charge of collecting money from the students in payment for their year books. Tom Jeatran, the sales manager, and Mr. Pollock, the financial advisor, directed the activity of this group. enomin Salesmen Mr. Pollock and Tom confer about finan cial matters.
