The Forensics Club had a successful year with many activities. During the basketball season, they sponsored the concession stand for two games. The profit from this was used for transportation and other costs for various contests. The officers for the year were Judy Goehring, presidentg Nancy Schoenoff, vice presidentg Mickey Bundy, treasurerg and Jackie Chryst, secretry. Early in March a practice meet was held in Chippewa. After the league forensic contest as Menomonie, the dis- trict contest was held in Eau Claire on March 28. Debate For the first time in three years, Menomonie High School had a debate club. Mr. Sehloff was the ad- visor. The club met every Thursday at four o'clock. Early in October, after much behind-the-scene activi- ty, members went to Eau Claire to take part in an inter-regional discussion clinic in which they placed third. The debate question was Resolved: that the Atlantic Pact Nations should form a federal union. This was debated january tenth at Eau Claire. Library Keeping our library in order involves the Work of more than just one person. To aid her in this and other duties, Mrs. Minda Dockar, librarian, ap- points several girls to work with her throughout the year. Every second and fourth Wednesday, the members of the club meet to discuss the selection of new books. Carol Anderson, president, and Judy Knopps, secre- tary, were the officers for the year.
