HONOR CUP HE Honor Cup was presented by the Glrls Athletic Assoclatlon in 1926 The first class to w1n it was the Cenlor Class of that year and lt has been won by each succeedmg Senior Class since Each year the class maklng the hlghest number of points shall be awarded the cup and the date and the class numeral shall be en graved thereon Merit points shall be awarded to the class accordlng to the follow mg schedule of merits and demerlts SCHOLASTIC Merxts One point for ev ry passing mark except gym and music One addltio al point fox every such st indlng over 90 One more addltion al point for every such standing over 95 Demerlts One polnt for every falling stand mg ATHLETICS Ments:-l'1ve points to every squad member making a letter. Two points for every squad member playing a full season. Five points to Hnal team winner of any girls-inter-class athletic contest. Five points to gym leaders throughout the whole year Dements Five points for any squad member whose conduct shall bring dlscredlt upon the school DEBATE ORATORY and DECLAMATORY Same as for athletic ORCHESTRA AND BAND Merxts One polht for mebership 1n beginners orchestra. Two points for membership in band or advanced orchestra. CITIZENSHIP Men-its:--One point for each student with per- fect attendance. From one to ten points for any student rendering a service of special merit which has not been awarded credit under any other department. One point for each week the class banks 100'?.
