Championship in '47 and '48, and our track team won the l'.l'. award in '411 and placed second in '47, .Xll of us are proud to be members of a school which has made such a time record in sports. We know that many hours of hard work by coaches and team members have been necessary for success. XYe also know that our coaches have done much to promote an all-around athletic prograni and to encourage sportsmanship, teamwork, reliability, and loyalty, traits of character which were well exeniplined by members of this year's teams and the loyal fans who followed the games. ln future years when whether we won or lost this or that particular game has become :1 matter of little importance, many of us will remember the rules by which all good contests are won and apply them to our daily lives. 3
