O ' L Cdo liege Jty oard of U irectors Left to right — First row - Rev. H. Warkentin (Ont.), Rev. E. J. Lautermilch (Sask.), Rev. J. H. Quiring (chairman), C. A. DeFehr (treasurer), Rev. H. Regehr (secretary), Rev. P. J. Dick (Ont.) Second row - Rev. A. J. Conrad (Alta.), Rev. Henry Baerg (N. Sask.), Rev. Henry Voth (Alumni), Rev. J. A. Toews (pres.), Rev. William Neufeld (B.C.), Rudy Janzen (B.C.), Rev. Herman Voth (B.C.) The objective of our Bible College is clearly stated: “. . . to provide an oppor¬ tunity for earnest young men and women to prepare adequately for the high calling of Christian service . . .” Such an objective assumes that the student is a genuine Christian, endowed with abilities to serve, and willing to submit himself to such dis¬ cipline as is required for those who would serve. The College does not bestow ability but seeks to provide opportunity. It does not extend a call to Christian service but endeavours to recognize God’s call in the life of the student. It does not assign a field of service but assists the student to find his role in life by means of a counselling program. As a Board we are conscious of the ever-increasing demands that are placed upon the Christian worker by the church and the world. The call is for men who know God experientially, who are saturated with His Word, who are deeply conscious of a divine commission, who love and understand man and who are dynamic in their presentation of gospel truth as they relate it to our present day needs. Thus, with the strong support of our constituency, the Board has sought to rise to the occasion and provide for a competent and devoted faculty and a physical, intellectual, and spirit¬ ual environment conducive to the training of young people, called of God to proclaim the “unsearchable riches of Christ.” Rev. J. H. Quiring

tytcuteca£e BILL BAERG, S.M.C. Coaldale, Alta. My College experience has deepened my realization of the implications of Galatians 2:20, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I but Christ liveth in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me.” ERNA BLOCK, B.R.E. Clearbrook, B.C. “How precious to me are thy thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them” (Ps. 139:17). Help me to know the value of these hours, Help me the folly of all waste to see; Help me to trust the Christ who bore my sorrows And thus to yield for life or death to Thee. AGATHA BOCK, B.R.E. Marquette, Man. “A Christian is a mind through which Christ thinks, a heabt through which Christ loves, a voice through which God speaks, a hand through which Christ helps and a life through which Christ lives.” It is my prayer that the Lord might make of me such a disciple.
