CLASS HISTORY ln the fall of I947 thlrteen children gathered In the elementary room to start school under the gundance of Edna McKinney They were Loreda Duffey Judy Hott Robert Manne bach Tommy Moss Robert Rogers Stanley Phullnps Lawrence Murphy Steven Burger, Jeannette Steuger, Bully Llungdahl Norman Channell Anna Mae Lmdsay, and Karen Dres cher ln our second grade, we had the mlsfortune of losing Bally Llungdahl and Anna Mae Lindsey Our thlrd and fourth grades were under the dnrectlon ot Hazel Neal We gained Esther Moss an the thnrd grade and Henry Wessel In the Fourth We lost Jeannette Steuger and Karen Drescher durlng the third grade In the thard grade we gained and lost Claudine Mashburn and Janet Houston Mlrnam Blum was our ftfth grade Instructor and Isabelle Neyer taught us In the slxth grade Our seventh and elghth years were spent upstalrs under the supervlslon ot the hugh school teachers Esther Moss and Norman Channell went to Hoxle at the beginning of our freshman year We started Into hugh school wnth Loreda Duffey Judy Hoff Steve Burger, Lawrence Murphy, Robert Mannebach Tommy Moss Robert Rogers Stanley Phnllnps and Henry Wessel We enloyed several class partues and the one act play we presented to the school When we were lunlors we selected Mr Wlllsam Latchford as our sponsor We presented o three act play entltled It s a Glrl Two lunlors Steven Burger and Lawrence dropped out during the second semester We also honored the seniors with a banquet the theme being Pamt the Town Red ln the fall of our sensor year, Leoma Steiger lomed our ranks Mrs Mary Geerdes dl rected our play entltled Let me out of Here This was a busy year fllled with actlvltles and trnps for varuous actlvntnes Our motto We have reached the brsdge of success now to cross It falls us with antncl patlon and perhaps some apprehension as we say adlos Alma Mater This Page Sponsored by FABRIC SHOP COLBY CLASSIC Colby Colby 6 I . . . - I I ' I I I I I I I . . .
