He refereed M-A's first Powder Putt Football game and disguised himself as Santa Claus at uFrostasia . His disciplinary actions were coupled with personal concern for the students. His guidance is a favorable influence on every student's journey. Mrs. DuBois, as Dean of Girls, assists Mr. Coftis and Mr. McClean. She con- stantly tries to develop a better and more understanding relationship with the students. She is eager to assist with problems and she handles them with wisdom and sympathy. Her main con- cern is with the lack of real communi- cation. She has sincerely tried to gain confidence and friendship needed to enhance her warm relationship with the students. Mr. Finley, Head Registrar and often behind the scenes, plays an important role in the organization of M-A. He makes sure all classes are properly balanced and that each student is in the correct placement. Since much of his work is done with the students' parents, teachers and counselors, he is a direct contact with the home. Discipline joined with understanding Dr. Dean Watkins Mr. John A. Mr. McC1ean's personality sparks M. be - iff Mr. McClean shows his spirit at Mr. Donald E. McClean the faculty football game One of Mr. McClean's main goals this year was to get acquainted with as many students as possible. ln accomplishing this goal, he could be seen mingling among students at brunch and lunch. Mr. McClean's talks to each individual class provided students with the opportunity to voice their criticisms and suggestions. He encouraged all student opinions and tried to act on behalf of his students. We feel that Mr. McClean succeeded in strength- ening the tie between the administration and the students at M-A. My xxx., ln his two short years as head ofthe Board of Trustees of the Sequoia Union High School District, Dr. George P. Chaffey has worked hard to make these years fruitful. He has had over twenty years of experience in administration and has done much work with personnel. The public voices its opinion through Dr. Chaffey and he handles all problems that arise. He is a very busy man and has done a great deal for the district. 12
