we rmtipals Uncle jimmy Cofiis has stated that every- thing attempted is on the behalf of the kids and he hopes they realize it. His affection for the -stu- dent increases his faith in them. I'm really sorry to see them go, he says of the graduating seniors. Mr. Finley, as Head Counselor of Menlo-Ather- ton, regrets that he has had little direct contact with the students. However, he does get an idea of what's going on by working with parents, teachers, and other counselors. Mrs. DuBois feels that this has been a reward- ing year because of the fine attitude and enthusi- asm of both students and staff. Last year, a dif- ferent one for our Dean of Girls was spent travel- ing through Europe, before returning to Stanford for extension studies.

was I l rintipal Being a part of the growth of kids is fun to Principal Donald E. McClean, who has 3 of his own. Mr. McClean tries to identify personally with M-A stu- dents through such various means as his little red bomb and his class level talks. Mr. McClean participated ener- getically in many activities this year, such as the Father-Daughter Dance where he and his daughter played the guitar and sang. In viewing the past year, Mr. McClean sees some disunity among the M-A student body, but is generally pleased with the students' mature behavior. g 'W -.ul
