The Valentine's Day royalty from Mrs. Wells' second grade class were elected by popular votes. The students voted for one King and one Queen. The runners-up for King and Queen were crowned Prince and Princess. Pictured to the right are: Prince, Jason Bobblitt; Princess, Melody Rogers; King, Travis McVey; and Queen, April Williams. HOLIDAYS At MCHS the holiday spirit is spread in different ways. Two groups that help give joy to others are FBLA and FHA. These two organizations buy gifts for the children each Christmas. Shown with Santa Claus are Melissa Clifford and Sis Back. In Santa's lap is Eddie Bradshaw. The smiling child in Santa's lap shows that the holidays bring but the best in all of us, but every now and then . . . . . . it brings out the 'worst' in us. Fall Festival Stephanie Cornett modeled at the Fashion Show sponsored by Mrs. Howard. Garietta Mayabb also modeled at the Fashion Show. A Michelle Fields, Cristal Roark, Mindy Asher and Kim Ferrell helped sell Nachos for the Spanish Club. Rob Tyra participated in the pie throw sponsored by FBLA. The Fall Festival was held November 7, 1987. There were many games and activities for everyone. The Journalism Class sponsored a jail. FBLA held a pie throw. The Spanish Club sold Nachos to raise money for their club. The elementary classes also had booths for their classes. Joe Back, sheriff, escorted Kim Ingram 14 Fall Festival to the jail which was sponsored by the Journalishm Class.
