Wallers, Superintendent of the Menifee County Schools The Menifee County Board of Education The Menifee County Board of Education members are: James Osborne, Tunney Amburgey, Emerson Ferrell, Hiram Walters, Amon Peyton, and Larry Sexton. James Osborne is married to the former Betty Heizer, and they have two daughters, Pam Davis and Darlene Williams. He represents the Mariba precinct and has for the past 18 years. Tunney Amburgey is married to the former Lorene Smallwood and has one child, Connie Faye. Mr. Amburgey serves the Pomeroyton precinct. Next year he will celebrate his 20th anniversary of serving on the Menifee County Board of Education. Emerson Ferrell is married to the former Phyllis Crain. They have five children: Jack, Anthony, Brenda Noble, Kathy Smallwood, and Cheryl Wells. Mr. Ferrell is presently the Chairman of the Board and has served the Frenchburg precinct for approximately 23 years. Hiram Walters, Superintendent of the Menifee County Schools, is married to the former Gay Arnett. They have two children, Diana Davis and Doug Walters. Amon Peyton is married to the former Mae Goodpaster. They have two sons, Earl Douglas and Larry Amon (Joe). He has represented the Means precinct for 15 years. Larry Sexton is the youngest member of the Board in both years and service. He is married to the former Nora Combs. They have three children: Bradley Allen, Alisa, and Linda Susan. Larry is presently serving his 2nd year on the Board and represents the Wellington precinct.
