Senior Class Prophecy Televisions are now out of date since man has journeyed into space and Space-o- rama is becoming more and more widespread. Leslie Reed, Rodney Kendrick, and Leo Adams, special Lunartick scientists, are testing a new development in the laboratory on the moon. They are tuned in on earth, station WMCHS, Frenchburg, Kentucky. Tonight is June 2, 1973, and their old classmates are gathering for their class reunion. Our scientists could not come tonight because a gyroscope on their rocket ship needed oiling and all the space stations were closed. The first guests to arrive are Mr. and Mrs. Larry Banfield. Mrs. Banfield, the former Becky Williams, is now working as a model for McCall's magazine, and Larry is Ohio State's Head Basketball Coach. Next, we see Barbara Wynn who is head of the Home Economics Department at Morehead State College. She is wearing a lovely fish-net dress which she designed and created. Over by the door we see Beverly Sorrell and Ronald Terrell talking in low tones. They are special lawyers for U. S. Steel and the grapevine has it they must leave soon to prepare for a special hearing to be held in the morning. Jane Cook Hospital is well represented tonight by their chief dietitian Miss Freida Gross, and three nurses, Connie Campbell, Paula Barker, and Jean Tolson. They planned the menu for tonight's meal. Tonight we are privileged to have with us, Menifee's famous engineers, Johnny Brown and Larry Mack. They have just finished drawing blueprints for TWA's Branch Airport just out of Frenchburg. Kevan Wells just flew in from Hollywood where he has been taking a series of screen tests for Walt Disney's latest release, Peanuts. Tonight we have with us some odd characters with an odd way of life. Deanna the Dude and Rita the Roper are running a rest resort for people with weary bodies and weary minds. This resort is located in Reservation, Nevada. Lynn Harp is carrying on her mother's profession well. She has just been ap- pointed by the President as Librarian-of-Congress. She will be leaving soon to catch her plane back to Washington. Good Heavens! Has someone had a wreck? ! Why, not at all; it's just Jean Byrd and Louise Stull bringing their little sports car, Sizzle to a frying stop! They are manufacturing these cars in Detroit. Rookie Pitcher-of-the-year, David Collins of the Cincinnati Redlegs, is talking with some of the alumni about the team's chances for winning the pennant this year. He modestly keeps to himself his outstanding record. We just received a telegram that Bill Hall and Donald Caldwell could not make it tonight. They had special duty (K. P) for the U. S. Army. This telegram was delivered by Frankie Stamper and LaVenna Hall on a bicycle built for two. Mrs. Noah Tufono and Mrs. Bryson Walters, the former Senda Shepherd and Theo Adams, are more interested in their 12 children, six each, than their old class- mates . Kenneth Rose has just arrived from his job as architect. He is working on Frenchburg Pike supervising the construction of Rose Model Homes. Robert Crisp asks for quiet and attention so that he and Helen Patrick can make an announcement. They look at each other and smile and most of the classmates know what to expect. Robert clears his throat and announces that they plan to be married in July before he leaves for the army.

Dwight Spradling, Head of Morehead State College Physics Department just called to say he will be unable to attend. He is teaching evening classes at Morehead and is giving a final test tonight. Foye Back, Menifee's County Agent, and Douglas Pugh, assistant county agent, just left hurriedly to attend to a sick cow on Dan Ridge. Harold Handy and Lonnie Osborne are entertaining a small crowd in the corner. They are now on television co-starring in the program, Comedy with the Two Jesters, in which each of them get a chance to display their acting ability. Katherine Tackett and Charlotte Crouch are now training, in Cape Hope in Menifee County, for their flight to Venus next month. They will be the first women astronauts from Kentucky. They sent their best wishes and regrets that they could not attend. Zania Fultz is having a time with her St. Bernard. She runs a rescuing station in the Arctic Circle and takes her St. Bernard to every event for advertising. (By the way, he just sampled the punch.) Randall Hayes is beaming tonight as he proudly announces his new title. He has just been chosen national yo-yo champion for the year. Gary Thomas looks a bit forlorn. It seems that he has been jilted by his famous fiance, singer Brenda Lee. They had been engaged for some weeks now and were planning to be married soon. Gary said he has no immediate plans. Larry Holland could not attend. He is resting up for his bout tomorrow night in which he will try to retain the title of light-weight champion of the world. Kenneth Hughes has opened the first bakery on the moon. Part of our refreshments are his Moonbeam Delights. He said his biggest problem was getting ingredients (flour, sugar, etc.). He has made quite a name for himself by using the moon's famous green cheese. Menifee's famous writer and recorder of ballads, David Issac, is passing out free copies of his latest release. He now owns Stick Recording Studios and is quite well known. Ronald Martin runs a Saturday Nite Sitters' Service for girls age 19-23. He sits with only one girl each night and charges no fees. Tommy Stiltner owns Frenchburg's largest used book store. Recently, he sold an old book for $50. Everyone thought this was quite good until he remembered putting $100 in the book for safekeeping. Janet Perry is now one of the world's most famous hairdressers. She is telling some of the ladies present some of her techniques. Alice Morrison is now working as secretary to the president of the moon, Woodrow Murphy. Neither Woodrow nor Alice could make it tonight because of a press conference with the moony reporters who are trying to get a story for the only newspaper on the moon, Lunar Leader. They chose this name because its editor, the first earth man on the moon, better known to us Ss Ralph White, said , as his first words, Take me to your leader. Our sponsors have gone unmentioned tonight, but they are now being introduced. Mr. Leveridge is opening a school on the moon to teach the language so that he can teach it at M. C. H. S. soon. As Wanda Sallee, famous vocalist for Frenchburg's Radio Station, sings This is the Hour, we find it's time again to leave our classmates. Good-bye, friends; all of you, we call once more before the doors close for the final time upon our most glorious years, our high school years.
