Class History We, the Seniors of 1961, are very happy to have with us ten of the original first graders. These are: Laveda Sons Carol Caudel Harold Smith Wallace Stiltner Ora Jean Smith Phyllis Buchannan Frankie Allen Olan Stiltner James Lawson Ernest Ingram No one joined our class until the boom year, which was the 8th grade. Joining the originals from Oklahoma School were: Mildred Cecil, Jo Ann Brewer and Larry Crouch. Vicki Bates and Louise Shepherd came from Wills School. Coming from Korea School were: Barbara Clark, Betty Craft and Stella Pugh. Betty Fultz came from Havanna. Joining the class from Sulphur School were Edna and Ottis Landrum. Carol Botts, Hubert Welch and Ronnie Lacy came from Botts School. Joan Conway and Priscilla Hall came from Hawkins Branch School. KathrynBerry and Rachel Kendrick came from Kendrick’s Ridge School; Winfred Sorrell came from Coldcave School; Vernon Johnson came from Stonequarry School; Betty Ingram came from Goosetown and Rita Stull from Trimble Bend. Joining during our Freshman year were Faye Rawlins from Dayton, Ohio; Zoia Brown and Joyce Stamper from Trimble Bend. Wanda Walton joined us from Ratliff School; Lowell Raney came from Stanton; and Donna Runyan came from Pomeroyton. During our Sophomore year Judy Poynter joined us from Camargo and Kay Rose came from Middletown, Ohio. Our class was made complete when Carol Jones joined us from Hazard in our Junior year.

Rachel Kendrick wills Bimbo” to Mr. Craft. Ronnie Lacy wills his pepsodent smile to Leslie Reed. Edna Landrum wills her freckles to Vicki Lacy. Ottis Landrum wills his first name to Mr. Adams. James Lawson wills his well groomed appearance to the Freshmen. Judy Poynter wills her ability to write Dear John letters to Phyllis Neal. Stella Pugh wills her Scottish ballads to Mrs. Adams. Faye Rawlins wills her ability to be a secretary to Mr. Walters. Kay Rose wills her love to Marshall DeBusk. Donna Runyan wills her ability to laugh to Shorty Holland. Louise Shepherd wills her ability to ask questions to Mr. Leveridge. Ora Jean Smith wills her life to Jimmy Hunt. Harold Smith wills his basketball skill to Kevan Wells. Laveda Sons wills her love to soldiers especially to Pfc Albert M. Sons. Winfred Sorrell wills his shyness to Kenneth Rose. Joyce Stamper wills her F in Physical Education to Mr. Craig. Olan Stiltner wills the yellow blanket to Arvena Faultner. Wallace Stiltner wills his sportsmanship in basketball to future ball players. Rita Stull wills her faithfulness to Woodson Stull.
