PROPHECY CON T As they are returning to their seats we hear a loud knock on the door. Allura Goodpaster, a gum tester for the Bazooka Bubblegum Company and Janice Wright, professor in physics, hasten to answer the call. To our sur- prise we see Carl Tolson and Billy Wilson, magazine salesmen for Curtis Publishing Company, entering the room. As they tell about the fine maga- zines they are selling, Alene Cecil Mays, mother of six, and Mrs. Janet Day Gannon, a dress designer, raise their hands for attention. After the subscrip- tions have been sold I look around to see if there is anyone I’ve overlooked. By Jiminy! I see two that I can’t leave out. Mrs. Janice Osborne Craft and Mrs. Bobby Nichol, formerly Jean Brown, are saying their good byes to the party of graduates As our Homecoming Dinner of 1969 draws to an end our hearts are lighter than they were before we came because we’ve found everybody happy. I leave you now with echoes of “Au revoir” ringing loud in the air.
