The Time of my Life Good times will be remembered and bad times forgotten. People will grow and leave the nest asking others to carry on. Through the changes and the day to day happenings the thing that will be most remembered is we had the time of our lives. 2 Theme Students at Mendon-Union have seen the familiar face of Mrs. Bowling stalking the elementary for many years. When she greets her students each fall she is many times greeting the son or daughter of a former student. Some say Mrs. Bowling is an institution. Having taught the primary grades for more than twenty-five years she is now helping students begin their elementary years with a good start in first grade. On Saturday, the 6th of February he made his 1,000th point and finished his four year career with a total of 1094 pts. Eric’s embarkment began his freshmen year by going from a substitute to a starter, which was a position he would never relinguish the rest of his playing days at M-U. Eric set very high goals for himself and worked to the best of his ability to achieve those goals. He possessed great athletic ability with his shooting and passing skills and had the eye and form of a true marksmen. During his sophomore and junior years he made honorable mention MAC, and his senior year he made all MAC. In addition, he led Mercer County in scoring his junior year with 19.4 pts. per game average. He had numerous team honors all the way back to his sophomore year. Eric left some very impressive credentials for underclassmen to shoot for. With the dedication and hard work Eric devoted, maybe someday another will follow in his shadow. We all wish Eric the best of luck in his future endeavors! Even though we didn't have a winning season there were lots of memories to take with us after graduation. Our most unforgettable memory was winning the FAC title. We all agreed that being captains was a pretty big thrill, especially when it was shared with three close friends! We’d like to thank our coaches, not just for putting up with us, but for being there when we needed them. Good Luck next year. Thanks, and don't forget Poncho, Tonto. and Vern!!!
