7 e ( Ccfifien ‘PiaucCCy 76e e t On August 24, 1981, vibrant sounds rang from the halls of Mendon-Union School a new school year started. Favorite selections of the fall were band contests, the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, volleyball games, and dances. November through February revolved around basketball. Christmas vacation, and snow days. “School closed because of snow became a long-playing record; even students grew tired of this tune. The major sound effects of the year were the welcoming of Juanita Iconicoff from Argentina, the selection of the Bradford Pumpkin Queen. Homecoming Queen, and the production of You Can t Take It With You. May evolved around the Seniors: memories of the prom Polynesian Fan tasy, and May 28, 1982, graduation.
