When I put out to sea. But such a tide as moving seems asleep, Too full for sound and foam, When that which drew from out the boundless deep Turns again home. Twilight and evening bell. And after that the dark: And may there be no sadness of farewell. When I embark; For though from out our bourne of time and place The flood may bear me far, I hope to see my Pilot face to face When I have crossed the bar. 4 What better night for the Lord to call her home than tire day that her Lord and Saviour was bom? Faculty c Vuperin ten cfen t SEATED: Mrs. Phyllis Griggs, Clerk; John Clay, President, Margaret Springer. STANDING: John F. Maurer, Dillon Boroff, Larry Joe Hesse, Supt. R. Jay Stauffer. j3oarcf of C ducat ton Many years have come and gone since the opening of the Mendon-Union School System in 1893. Also, many changes have taken place since that time include three different high school buildings, additions and deletions of many courses, and 73 graduation classes having passed through the hallowed halls. The names and faces may change, but Mendon-Union continues to offer the community and the country the products of a fine and responsible center of learning. In this volume of the CLIPPER, we salute the Class of 1969 and wish them a future of happiness and personal satisfaction. The time has also come when 1 must bid farewell to the Mendon-Union Schools. The past eight years have been very enjoyable and rewarding. I know that in the years to come, many memories will be brought back as I leaf through the pages of this, the 1969 CLIPPER. R.
