(Treasurer 3,4) Annual Staff 2,3 Class Play 3,4 Class Play Usherette 2 Kindergarten Helper 4 VALEDICTORIAN Lina Griggs SALUTATORIAN Betty Edwards We Honor To encourage students to develop their human intelligence to its highest capacity, the Mendon Womens Civic Club, the Mendon Lions Club, and the Mendon Union Future Teachers of America founded a scholarship program. This program began in 1961, and since that time nine scholarships of three hundred dollars each have been awarded. Students applying for the scholarship must be in the upper fourth of the graduating class, be admitted to an accredited college, and plan on completing a two years’ training period. They have brought us much happiness and certainly a better understanding of our South American neighbors. We hope they return to their native land with a love of Mendon and a better understanding of their North American Neighbors. Certainly the students of Mendon Union will long remember the excitement, pleasure, and challenge their visit has presented. Co-editors Elaine Barker and Juanita Miller supervised ad selling, subscription campaigns, picture assignments, layouts, and the general production of the yearbook. ■ Members of the Clipper staff are from the sophomore, junior, and senior classes. RAMBLER STAFF Each week the members of the journalism class are hard at work preparing the week's edition of the Rambler. The year was highlighted by a tour of the printing facilities of the Celina Daily Standard and by publishing an edition of The Jolly Roger in the Daily Standard.
