The Glee Club under the direction of Miss Ferrell has made great progress this year. We have participated in many events such as: The Music Festival held at Cellna, April 1, 19 1. This was the main event of the year for which we all worked hard. For this we had to learn to sing one song a capella. Altogether we learned five new songs for this occasion. Our first appearance was at a Thanksgiving Program held in the auditorium. We also sang at The Farmers' Institute in a Stephen Collins Foster Musical. We again appeared at P. T. A. When we put on the night's program. Although we practiced only once a week we all think we have made great progress, thanks to Miss Ferrell. 27

The Mendon High School Orchestra, directed by Miss Ferrel, had a very successful year despite the handicap of only a once a week practice. The orchestra appeared, during the course of the year, for P. T. A., the class plays, in the County Music Festival, for the Farmers' Institute, and for the graduation exercises at the close of the school. 26

Jack Holtzapple, President: Robert Krick, Vice President; and Eileen Webb, Secretary and Treasurer vere the officers chosen for this year. In November a party vas held at the school house and the main event of the evening vas the initiation of the nev members. The programs for the club meetings consisted of musical numbers from the different members. 28
