CLASS PROPHECY Fasten your safety belts, please. We are about ready to shove off on a tour of the world to visit the graduates of 19 0-41. As soon as the motors are warmed up , we will be ready for our first flight on the flag ship Metier, of the Meudon Air Lines. This flight will take us to the Hawaiian Islands, where we find Robert Clay hard at work a3 a government Radio operator. OhI By the wayl While the plane is being serviced for the next leg of the journey, we can pay Orby Putman a visit. He owns a large planta— tion down there, and has his eye on several more, as well as a classy little Spanish number. Our next flight will be across the ocean to the Philippines. If we arrange our time correctly, we will get a chance to see Doyt Faurot. He is flying one of the big transports now running back and forth from the states. After refueling there, we hope to be able to get into England to see Darrell Fisher. He is heed mechanic in one of the big plane factories. And now, its back to the states. Our first stop will be Wisconsin, where we find Richard Ting-ley as sole owner of a large and prosperous dairy. While in Chicago, we visited with Dorotha, the beautiful singer at the Trianon. Oh! Yes! We forgot to mention, that while going over the Sahara Desert we passed over Jake Griggs' combination residence and harem. You see Jake, is a big shiek and leader among the desert people. His favorite wife is Eileen Hayraan, and some of the other members of his harem are Irene Truesdale and Ardyth Drake. Harriet Lou Krugh is his favorite dancer, and Jean Crltes is the camel keeper. But, we must hurry on and visit Modern Tripoli, the No-man3-land, with Edna Book as Mayor. The Chlef-of-Police is Irene Boyer, and members of the force include Ruth Wheeler, Anna Mae Hole, Anna Schwarck and Betty Springer. 13

CLASS HISTORY On September 1, 1929, three rather bewildered, wide eyed children, eagerly clutching their mother's hands, were seen approaching Mendon Onion High School. They were seeing this great institution of learning for the first time. We three were: Ardyth Drake, Harriet Krugh and John Griggs. We soon found our places and many others joined us. By the time we entered our Freshman year, the class had reached a total of twenty six members. The highlight of our Freshman year was that frightening initiation. Our hopes of ever getting out of the Freshman year seemed very dark and dismal. We were looked down on by our upper-classmen as the green freshman . The officers for the Freshman year were: President-------------Glen Fox Vice President----Dorothy Hays Secretary----------------Irene Boyer Treasurer------------Edna Book We emerged from our Freshman year full of new hopes and a much better outlook for the coming year. We prided ourselves on being a little better than those green freshman ' and we were ready to become a little more serious minded. Officers elected were: President--------Dick Tingley Vice President-----John Griggs Secretary----------Irene Boyer Treasurer-----------------Jean Crites Sigh! Sigh! Here we are Juniors, already. What a year we did have. We received our class rings the first of the year. On April 29, we began to show what talent we had by presenting our Class Play, Sun-bonnet Jane, of Sycamore Lane which was a great hit. We topped the Junior year off by entertaining the Senior class with the customary banquet which was held in the auditorium. Officers this year were: President---------Dorothy Hays Vice President------Edna Book Secretary---------------Ardyth Drake Treasurer-----------------Jean Crites This, Our last year has been best of all. There are seventeen members in our graduating class. We are now prepared to go out into this world and see what use we can make of the learning we have acquired in these twelve long and happy years. We are rather reluctant to leave our old school but time marches on and so must we. Officers this year: President-----------------Doyt Faurot Vice President-----John Griggs Secretary-------Eileen Hayman Treasurer---------------Ardyth Drake 12
