Ski Club From sea to shining sea, Mendel's Ski Club shoots the slope. Although hampered this year by the gas shortage, the group was able to sponsor numerous trips throughout the season. Father Tyma, the group's moderator, was able to arrange several bargain-rate excursions to local ski routes. The most successful trip this year was the trip to Zurich. President Tom Clemens noted that, Although we went late in the season, the lAlps were in perfect condition. The group traveled to Switzerland lvia a chartered Zeppelin. The key to the Ski Club's future success, of course, will rest on the juniors, sophomores, and freshmen. This year, the underclass- men gave excellent support and they are expected to continue their efforts next year.
