Knights 0fAugusfine The K of A is a service fraternity dedi- cated to its motto of Concern through Action. Some of the services they provide are: A toy drive for the poor children in Mississippi, a Christmas party and field day for the kids at St. Joseph's child cen- ter, and they also repainted and cleaned the teachers lounge. Some of the fraternal activities included retreats and outings to Holland, Michigan. One of the most impor- tant events of the year was the pledge and probation ceremony on Feb. l0. On this day those members taking the pledge were accepted as full members of the K of A. Others were accepted for a probation- ary period of one year.
