Track Although the team results were somewhat disappointing, individual showings were rather encouraging. The outlook for next year is generally favorable despite the small turnout of underclassmen for the team. Baseball This year's Monarch Baseball team, led by the brilliant pitching of senior Roger Hirtz Q9-Ol, made a late season comeback to reach the playoffs. The Diamondmen advanced to the semi-finals before losing to the eventual Catholic League champion Loyola. The squad had a nucleus of tal- ented underclassmen which bodes well for the forthcoming season. TOP RIGHT: Jeff Kozik grimaces as he fires a strike toward the plate.
